Cerelac is generally recommended from 6 months onward, once a baby is ready for solid/semi-solid foods alongside breastmilk or formula.
No – most pediatric guidelines advise against starting cereal-based complementary foods before 6 months, as earlier introduction isn’t recommended for digestion and nutrition reasons.
Portions typically start small (a few spoons) and gradually increase as the baby adjusts, usually following the quantity chart on the product packaging.
Prepared Cereal should not be stored it’s meant to be freshly made and fed immediately, then any leftover discarded rather than reused later.
This depends on age, but it’s usually introduced once a day initially, increasing to 2–3 times daily as the baby grows and takes more solids.
